Pharmacological action of
Irritating the taste buds of the mucous membranes of the mouth and tongue,
infusion of calamus rhizomes in a reflexive way increases the secretion of gastric juice,
increases appetite and improves digestion.
Indications
Used as a means of increasing appetite and improving digestion in complex therapy for hypofunction of the gastrointestinal tract.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to calamus preparations.
Special instructions
Avoid prolonged use of calamus preparations.

Dosing and Administration
4 filter bags are placed in a glass or enamel dish, pour 200 ml of boiling water, close and leave for 15 minutes, periodically pressing the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them.
The volume of the resulting infusion was adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml.
Take orally in a warm form, 1/3 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals.
