Pharmacological action of

Contraindications

With simultaneous use, it reduces the chronotropic effect of isoprenaline. With prolonged or high-dose use, disulfiram-ethanol may interfere. In high doses, increases renal excretion of mexiletine. Barbiturates and primidone increase urinary excretion of ascorbic acid. Reduces the therapeutic effect of antipsychotics (phenothiazine derivatives), tubular reabsorption of amphetamine and tricyclic antidepressants.

Overdose
