Dosage and administration

The drug is intended for internal use. For treatment, a bacteriophage is taken 3 times a day by mouth 1 hour before a meal from the first day of the disease for 7-10 days. In case of a disease characterized by mild colitic syndrome, and during convalescence simultaneously with oral administration, it is recommended to administer the drug rectally, in the form of enemas, instead of 1 ingestion.

Inside, 1 hour before a meal, from the first day of illness for 5-7 days:

- Children under the age of 6 months are recommended a 5 ml liquid preparation at a time or in an enema of 10 ml

- from 6 months to 1 year - 10-15 ml at a time or in an enema of 20 ml

- from 1 year to 3 years - 15-20 ml per dose or in an enema 20-30 ml

- from 3 years to 8 years - 20-30 ml per dose or in an enema 30-40 ml

- from 8 years and older - 30-40 ml at a time or in an enema 50-60 ml.

For preventive purposes, the drug is recommended to be used to prevent bacterial carriage, nosocomial infection, during group diseases in organized groups and families. Optimal patterns of use - daily intake of a single dose depending on age. The duration of the drug is determined by the conditions of the epidemiological situation.
