Mechanism of action:

Hyaluronic acid (HA, hyaluronate) is a natural high-polymer glycosaminoglycan, consisting of alternating components of N-acetyl-glucosamine and glucuronic acid, which in normal tissues combine in long chains with a molecular weight of up to 10x10 Daltons. HA is synthesized in the cell membrane of synoviocytes and plays a crucial role in the life of the joint.
