Pharmacological action
Leflobact® is a synthetic broad-spectrum antimicrobial bactericidal drug from the group of fluoroquinolones.
Levofloxacin is the levorotatory isomer of ofloxacin. Levofloxacin blocks the enzymes DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV, disrupts supercoiling and cross-linking of DNA breaks, and causes deep morphological changes in the cytoplasm, cell wall and bacterial membrane.
Levofloxacin is active against most strains of microorganisms both in vitro and in vivo.
Gram-positive aerobic microorganisms: Staphylococcus spp. (coagulase-negative, methicillin-sensitive / moderately methicillin-sensitive strains), Staphylococcus aureus (methicillin-sensitive strains), Staphylococcus epidermidis (methicillin-sensitive strains), Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus pneumoniae (penicillin-sensitive penicillin-sensitive penicillin-sensitive strains), Streptococcus spp (groups C, G), Streptococcus viridans (penicillin-sensitive and penicillin-resistant strains), Enterococcus faecalis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Listeria monocytogenes.
Gram-negative aerobic microorganisms: Acinetobacter spp. (including Acinetobacter anitratus, Acinetobacter baumannii, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus), Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans, Citrobacter freundii, Citrobacter diversus, Eikenella corrodens, Enterobacter spp. (including Enterobacter aerogenes, Enterobacter agglomerans, Enterobacter cloacae, Enterobacter sakazakii), Escherichia coli, Gardnerella vaginalis, Haemophilus ducreyi, Haemophilus influenzae (ampicillin-susceptible / ampicillin-resistant strains), Haemenophylus pylori, Influenzae pylori, papilionella (including Klebsiella oxytoca, Klebsiella pneumoniae), Moraxella catarrhalis, Morganella morganii, Neisseria gonorrhoeae (including penicillin-producing strains), Neisseria meningitidis, Pasteurella spp. (including Pasteurella canis, Pasteurella dagmatis, Pasteurella multocida), Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Providencia spp. (including Providencia rettgeri, Providencia stuartii), Pseudomonas spp. (including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas fluorescens), Salmonella spp., Serratia spp. (including Serratia marcescens).
Anaerobic microorganisms: Bacteroides fragilis, Bifidobacterium spp., Clostridium perfringens, Fusobacterium spp., Peptostreptococcus spp., Propionibacterium spp., Veillonella spp.
Other microorganisms: Bartonella spp., Chlamydia (Chlamydophila) pneumoniae, Chlamydia psittaci, Chlamydia trachomatis, Legionella spp. (including Legionella pneumophila), Mycobacterium spp. (including Mycobacterium leprae, Mycobacterium tuberculosis), Mycoplasma hominis, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Rickettsia spp., Ureaplasma urealyticum.
Indications
Infectious-inflammatory diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to levofloxacin: - lower respiratory tract (including chronic bronchitis, pneumonia)
- ENT organs (including sinusitis, otitis media)
- urine organs (including acute pyelonephritis, prostatitis, urogenital chlamydia)
- skin and soft tissues (including suppurative atheromas, abscess, boils)
As part of the complex treatment of drug-resistant forms of tuberculosis.
Contraindications
- epilepsy
- tendon damage with previous treatment with quinolones
- impaired renal function in CC < 20 ml / min, if necessary hemodialysis
- pregnancy
- lactation period
- children and adolescents under 18
- hypersensitivity to Leflobact components.
Caution is advised to use the drug in case of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency in elderly patients (there is a high probability of a concomitant decrease in renal function).
Composition
1 tablet contains 900 mg of vitamin C (ascorbic acid).
Other ingredients
Dextrose filler, acidity regulators (citric acid E330, sodium bicarbonate E500), flavoring agents identical to natural ones: orange, lemon polyethylene glycol E1521, aspartame sweetener E951, dye riboflavin 5-phosphate E101
krffd71 Composition

Shell composition: hypromellose, macrogol, titanium dioxide, tropeolin 0.
Dosage and administration of
Leflobact is taken orally, regardless of food intake, 250-500 mg once a day. The duration of treatment depends on the indications for use. In case of impaired renal function, an adjustment of the administration regimen is required, including dose reduction depending on creatinine clearance.
