Pharmacological action

Melaxen is an adaptogenic drug, a chemical analogue of the biogenic amine melatonin.

Synthesized from amino acids of plant origin. The chemical formula is N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine, molecular weight 232. It is soluble in water, alcohol, lipids.
