Pharmacological action

REMAINED PLUS contains a special fraction of sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronan - hyaluronic acid in the form of sodium salt) of high purity, obtained by bacterial fermentation. The product does not contain animal proteins, which reduces the risk of an allergic reaction, and a narrow molecular weight range helps to ensure the absence of lungs that cause inflammation, fragments of hyaluronic acid. Indications

Intra-articular administration of ostenil is indicated for pain and limited mobility with degenerative-dystrophic and traumatic changes in the hip, knee and other synovial joints.

Contraindications

Ostenil should not be used by patients suffering from a pronounced sensitivity to one of the components.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Not recommended for use in children, pregnant and lactating women.

Composition

Before the injection is necessary: ​​Remove the filled syringe with the medical device Ostenil® Plus from the sterile packaging.

Carefully lift off the cover with the protective cap.

Attach a sterile needle of the required size (18–25 G) and secure it by turning slightly.

Before injection, release air bubbles from the syringe if any.

Side effects

After intraarticular administration of a medical device Ostenil® Plus, local secondary effects such as pain, sensation of warmth, redness and swelling may occur. The application of ice on the punctured joint for 5–10 min allows the relief of such phenomena.
