Pharmacological action

Puregon - follicle-stimulating. Puregon makes up for FSH deficiency. Regulates the normal growth and maturation of follicles, the synthesis of sex steroid hormones.

Indications

Female infertility during anovulation (including polycystic ovary syndrome, refractory to clomiphene citrate) assisted reproduction programs, incl. in vitro fertilization (for the induction of superovulation).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, tumors of the ovaries, breast, uterus, pituitary or hypothalamus, primary ovarian failure, ovarian cysts or ovarian enlargement not associated with polycystic ovary syndrome, impaired anatomy of the genital organs or uterine fibroma, incompatible.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Contraindicated in pregnancy. Lactating women should abandon breastfeeding.

Overdose
