Indications

Combined therapy of acute and chronic infectious and inflammatory diseases accompanied by a decrease in cellular immunity. Prevention of infectious complications, immune suppression, blood formation, regeneration processes in the post-traumatic and postoperative period, during radiation therapy or chemotherapy, using massive doses of antibiotics. Prevention and complex therapy of viral and bacterial infections, acute and chronic respiratory diseases.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the drug, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

Special instructions

There is evidence of the effectiveness of using Timogen as an immunomodulator that restores immunological reactivity as part of the complex treatment of viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, pseudotuberculosis, influenza and acute respiratory viral infections, papillomatosis, sepsis.

According to clinical studies, the use of Timogen in the acute period of the disease with intestinal form of amoebiasis, typhoid fever, acute dysentery, erysipelas, diphtheria, brucellosis, hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome improves the well-being of patients, contributes to a more rapid normalization of biochemical and immunological parameters. Dosage and administration of

The solution is administered intramuscularly 1 time per day for adults of 100 mcg (300 - 1000 mcg per course)

for children under 1 year - 10 mcg, from 1 year to 3 years - 10-20 mcg, from 4 to 6 years - 20-30 mcg, from 7 to 14 years old - 50 mcg.

The duration of the course of treatment is 3-10 days, depending on the severity of immunity disorders. A second course of treatment is possible after 1-6 months.

Drug interaction

Increases the effectiveness of other types of therapy (cytostatics, radiation therapy, etc.) is not recommended to be used simultaneously with large doses of glucocorticosteroid drugs.
